It is the policy of OMNI Engineering Services Inc. not to disclose customer names and/or proprietary details of projects without the client’s release to do so.

Customer needed immediate help with software that they had written for an electric vehicle gauge assembly. They also wanted us to investigate the cost to completely rewrite the code to make it more robust and maintainable.

We flew a seasoned engineer to their site to patch the code and meet their pressing deadlines. With the emergency out of the way we devised a plan to get them design documentation of the product and new robust code.
OMNI Engineering Services wrote the specification based on existing documents and meetings with our customer and the final customer. With a detailed specification we then rewrote the code to meet the requirements.

The product, being well defined, was used to replace the existing code already in the field eliminating intermittent problems. The documentation provided definitive answers to the operation of the gauge.
