  • PROJECT REQUIREMENTS:

    Design a system that has both CAN and three rs232 communications ports that allow both the conversion of data and the logging of any data received or obtained through its sensors.

  • DESIGN APPROACH:

    This project was based off of a thirty-two bit Motorola 68376 microcontroller to be able to support all of it's communication needs. All of the code was written in the "C" programming language with some modules written in assemble language.

  • PROJECT RESULTS:
    		•
    The product was very well received in the field. The device was able to mate with any of the customers existing controllers and provide a solid secondary data logging system to meet government OTR food transport regulations.
