  • PROJECT REQUIREMENTS:

    The customer requested a PC based control solution to handle digital and analog inputs and outputs which controlled and monitored a 50KW DC power supply, gases and other chemistry in the process of depositing carbons on substrates by striking a plasma in a containment vessel. As part of the I/O system, system fault handling and error reporting were critical to the safety of those working with the system, since the process was potentially explosive.
