  • PROJECT REQUIREMENTS:

    Multi-Bus slave board responsible for 5 zones of temperature control and capable of operation even after loss of main power to multi-bus system. System to use thermistors as sensors and control to 1/100th of degrees.

  • DESIGN APPROACH:

    The product was designed using an Intel 8051 microcontroller and an integral DC power supply. The software for the project was developed in archimedes "C". The design required the development of thermistor signal conditioning, analog to digital conversion techniques, and multi-bus data exchanges.

  • PROJECT RESULTS:

    Product is in system testing at the customer’s site, having successfully completed qualification testing.
